Joined as employee #12 in 2018 and was eventually promoted to head of customer success, overseeing all customer-facing operations. Product Manager | Checkbox 2022 - Present

My mission is to deliver core ICP value (in-house lawyers) increasing retention and upsell, and to identify and execute on potential product growth levers for net new revenue.

• Product lead for Checkbox’s legal product team, reporting to CPO. Comprised of 5 engineers and 1 designer, the team has delivered over 50 features in the core workflow product, as well as 2 new product launches in 12 months.
• Launched Checkbox’s first new product, an AI-powered legal assistant designed to address high-volume policy questions. Generated over 15 opportunities since launch. Owned the lifecycle from discovery, and delivery, through to go-to-market design, and pricing.
• Launched Checkbox’s second new product line, legal ticketing, focused on enabling lawyers to fulfil and track their work seamlessly from both email and on platform. Pre-sign ups over 20% for ICP within the customer base.
• Designed and implemented the product led growth (PLG) motion, with over 100 users signing up, and producing 1~3 opportunities per quarter.
• Developed a self-import “templates” feature to reduce user onboarding time. Analysed 150+ apps across the customer base, constructed white-labelled templates, and embedded user best practices in the templates. Templates have reduced user onboarding from 3 days to a matter of seconds.

Head of Customer Success | Checkbox 2021 - 2022

Responsible for setting up the CS function. Grew NRR to 120%, which helped us raise capital from Sequoia and Tidal Ventures.

• Grew the customer success function from 2 to a team of 12 across customer success, support and professional services.
• Designed and implemented a best practice customer success playbook, by analysing and extracting success and failure conditions for best and worst customers, respectively, and sub segmenting by industry and segment. Predictable playbook led to net revenue retention of 120%.
• Developed and implemented Checkbox’s no-code App development process which includes best practices around idea generation, requirements gathering, design and building apps, testing and debugging, deployment, change management, and maintenance processes.
